  1. Hey Maggie, Cool Pictures! You did a good job capturing memory and vintage. I think that your POW is definitely 4. I really like the way you shot the bridge. I think you have good lighting and think that the filter you used really gives the shot a reminiscent feel.

  2. Hi Maggie 1, 2, and 13 are my favorites of yours. You did a good job framing your images this week for example like some of the outside shots with the objects up in the corner. Your POW for me is number 2. I love how light is only hitting one side of your face and the overall feeling seems moody or a little dark. Interesting shot good work.

  3. Hey Maggie. Great job creating feelings of nostalgia and memory. Many of your photos inspired feelings of reflection and introspection. Photos 4, 16, and 17 all did a great job of conveying these feelings well. I was torn between photo 18 and 19 for your POW this week. I love 18 for the idea that the bikes bring to the concept of memory but, 19 really seems like it's already ingrained in someone's memory. Both of these can be your POW.

  4. Hey Maggie, beautiful photographs! The first thing that stood out to me is how you used a similar tone for all of your photos. It's nice because it gives the viewer a sense of continuity. I also like how you shot a lot of your photos outdoors! As for your POW, I would have to say number 20! I love that the photo looks like it could be black and white, but has that slight hint of green in the trees!

  5. Hey Maggie, I really like your collection! You really used a bunch of cool filters and editing techniques that conveys time and nostalgia. Your pictures are also variant in their subjects and I think you have a strong sense of composition and when the right moment is to snap the shot. These pictures remind me of a lomo series that you might find from a Diana or a Holga toy camera. I love it! Your POW should be number 10. Your composition with the man sitting and one corner, layered with the window, layered with the chair in the back all make for a very strong photo.

  6. I honestly dont know what one to choose for POW because they are all so great. If i had to choose, it would be POW #9. It truly looks like it could be a vintage photo that was taken a century ago. Not only on the #9 photo, but on them all, I noticed how great your filters and FX were on all the photos. They all have a very old and ages feel, and the subjects you chose to shoot benefit from these FX you used. Great job

  7. Hey Maggie! You have a ton of great pictures here, it was really hard to choose. I definitely think that #10 should be your POW. I love the framing here. I love that the window pane leads my eyes to each corner of the picture. The lighting is incredibly striking as well.

I also really like #4. The added filter adds some "vintage" to the photo. It reminds me of a bridge in an old park near my home so this picture brings me back.. Good job!

  8. pow = 9, this photo legitimately looks like it was taken on a farm about 50 years ago, and that is really cool that you were able to recreate something like that. i enjoy the textures and grain, and even though its black and white it is rich in color.
i like the nature scenes and shots of old looking objects. the use of vignette and grain really makes the photos look as if they were from another time. great work

  9. Pow: 16
You did a great job of choosing great subjects for the assignment. The river and pathways guide the eyes and gives off an impression that something new and different is in the horizon, but also emphasizes on the past. Your color scheme and composition was really good. overall good job.
