Hey Michael! Wonderful shots. By taking this photo at the angle it drives the eye across the photo to the shed. There is a lot of converging lines going on in this photo which pulled my eye in all different directions. The tone is slightly dark and looks like someone is reminiscing their past. I like how you chose to take this at an angle rather than straight on. It created great depth and a beautiful experience.

  2. Hi Michael, great job on your photos! I like how you captured various subjects and how you photographed them at an angle instead of straight on! You also capture a lot of nice light throughout your photos. As for your POW, I would choose number 13. I like the angle, the tone, and the warehouse-looking setting that it's in. Also, the person sitting in the frame makes the photo look a bit ominous!

  3. Hey there, #13 is my pick for your POW. The crooked, unleveled, off set composition you have going on is very interesting. It makes me stop to really look and turn my head like a confused dog haha. The lighting is also very nice and compliments the environment well. Its a very vintage look and feel, so great job.

  4. Hey Michael, I like your collection! I think your POW should be number 6 because it evokes time in a number of ways. Record players were used by our parents and our parents parents, and yet we still see vinyl records being played by you or I. Times have changed so drastically since our grandparents were young, yet music is timeless. I think a lot of your photos convey layered stories much like number 6. Great work!

  5. Hey Michael! I have three photos that really stick out to me, I keep going back to look at them. I really like numbers 3, 4, and 13. I love the broken window in number 3. It makes me wonder if it's an abandon building or what happened to the window. I think your POW should be #4. I really like the texture on the the building and the lines lead my eye throughout the picture. Good job Michael!

  6. Michael, I really like all of your stuff. I think my favorites are 15, 13 and 3. I think your POW should be 13. The angle of this is really interesting. I also really love the lighting of the photo. Its a muted photo but somehow still really rich looking.

  7. pow = 13, interesting camera tilt, and the monochromatic color scheme really makes the photo look and feel vintage to me. i love the warehouse look of it with the commercial renovated living space feel. it is interesting how the person in the image seems so small and backed up in the corner, this isn't usually how a person is portrayed in a photo.
overall i really like the industrial theme you had going in this project. the factories and rust really make the photos make me think no one has been there, in that spot for a while, until you came along.

  8. Hey Michael!

Great pictures this week and a very interesting collection. Your POW should be number 13. You took an interesting angle to the shot and the filter mixed with the color of the room just really made everything go together very well. Makes it look like an abandoned room and it's really cool!

I really like this scene. It seems fun and lively. The lighting creates great shadows and the angle which the picture was taken is also interesting. I think it allows the audience to enter the scene and wonder what is currently and what was previously going on which aligns perfectly with the theme.
