Hi Sean, my favorite photographs of the bunch are 6 and 13. I love the simplicity of the photographs, but they are both are so powerful. They both have an eerie environment to them, and I feel like there could be memories attached to these locations. Your POW is 6 because you managed to make a simple telephone on the wall appear so interesting. Great job.
Hi Sean, really cool concepts and inspirations behind your photos! My POW is definitely 13 because I love the depth and atmosphere you captured in this photo. I really like the antique feel you gave the photo with a filter. The lighting really added a focus and created the really cool atmosphere. The brown tone that you gave to the photo really added to the piece.
Hi Sean! your photos are very cool! I really enjoyed looking through your work. You used a lot of different types of filters and that made your work look very nice and different/unique. I really like photograph #6. The filter is perfect here and the angle is also great! it looks very mysterious and have a powerful message behind it. The telephone is just a white phone that is hung on the wall, yet you made it look very vintage and gave it a life.
Hey Sean! Nice photos! A lot of your photos are very mysterious and give me the sense of memory! The filters you used to enhance your photos are very nice too! For your POW, I would choose number 1. I really like how you captured a picture of boulders, waves, and the person in the middle of the frame! This photo definitely looks vintage!
Hey Sean, Cool pictures this week. I think my favorites are 15, 12, and 6. I like how you didn't use a ton of color in your photos. This really adds to the vintage feel of your collection. I think your POW is picture 6. It is a really simple shot so it has a lot of mystery. The fact that it is seemingly alone on that space makes me wonder about the place. I bet it is a really interesting environment.
Your POW is photo number 7 because of the filter and the old looking window. I like how all of your photos have a similar vintage filter added to them, you certainly have your own style of pictures for this crit. I also like photo 1 because it looks cool.
Hey Sean! I really enjoyed a lot of your photos for this weeks topic. One thing that stood out to me was the great texture that you have in your photographs. The texture really made the photos have the vintage feel. I would have to say that your POW is number 6. Not only is that phone an old piece of our childhood that we can all relate to, but the way the photograph is shot also helps make it appear to be an old vintage photo. I love the texture on the wall on one side and the bright light coming through the window on the other side. Although everything in the photo is white, there is so much depth in the photo because of the natural highlights and shadows. Great job!
Hey Sean! Without a doubt I think your POW is #12. The editing in this picture and the lighting make me think this one was scanned from a picture of an old bedroom. I love the plain walls with the lamp in the center and the lights falling down the wall. It's a very intriguing picture and I think you did a good job in your editing here. Overall, your pictures are pretty good this week!
Hey Sean! Awesome collection this week and great job on the topic! I think your POW should be number 2. The fact that you took a vintage item and used filters to make it look even more vintage that it really makes it look like it is an old photo. Same goes for number 3 but I just think that number 2 captures the vintage in a better way.
Sean. You have a lot of really good photos here. I think you have a good eye for images that convey vintage while at the same time creating a feeling of reflection. In particular, photos 9 and 15 are both really good at doing what I just described. I think your POW is 13. This photo is dirty and lonely and has a very strong feeling of "aged" I love the condition of the room and even how one of the bouncy balls is slightly deflated. Plus you used appropriate effects to really enhance the feeling of vintage and memory.
