Hi Rebecca, I like the angles you used in for some of your shots. I like all the different types of color contrasts throughout your photos. Although you did not number any of your photos, I think your POW should be the second one down from the top. It has different colors and has a mysterious theme! Love it! good job! :)
lots of interesting close ups and textures. reflections on glass objects show lots of illumination and reflected lights, creating different hues. the reflections and lights give a lot of detail and value to the compositions.
POW- chicken and pepper shaker, looks like the chicken photo bombed the photo and the blurriness of the foreground gives it lots of character
Hey Rebecca! Really thought that the angles that you took your pictures were very interesting. You even made a basic coke can look very unique. My favorite picture was the second one from the top. I really like how the one candle is on its side to switch it up than just a typical candle picture.
Hey Rebecca, nice photos! The first one, of the red patterned couch is neat because of the colors and the couch hiding behind the object in front of the camera. The picture of the crystal chandelier is mysterious and I like how you captured rainbow colors in the crystals. I think your POW would be your last photo of the golden, crystal dish. I like how you framed this picture and caught some nice color! Nice work!
Hey Rebecca. I liked almost all of your photos. Ironically, the ones I liked the most seemed to fly in the face of the "cliches". The photo of the Coke can is just exceptional, not only for the wonderfully expressed color of red against the gray background, but the little bit of soda left on the lip of the can does so much to express action and fluidity in such an "object" piece. I also love the photo of the corn. The yellow just pops out and it the yellow of the wall behind helps this photo to explore the various tones of yellow. I think your POW is the shoes. The soles of those shoes really tell a story. In just one image I capture the feeling that these shoes have traveled through and experienced quite a bit. As well, this photo does a good job of exploring varying tones of brown and tan.
Hey Rebecca, I really enjoyed looking through your pictures. Your POW is definitely #11. The usage of the coke can is really unique in the sense that you captured the can. The fact that it is dividing the picture into three is really unique. Also the angle at which you captured the can makes it appear as though the can is slimming down and will eventually reach a vanishing point. The red of the can also works well against the background color. Regarding your collection, I see that you made use of the same color palette for the most part which brings the pictures together. The warmness and the subtlety of the photographs bring your collection together.
Hi Rebecca, I enjoyed the colors you were able to incorporate into most of your shots. In particular #13 and #11. Number 13 is very insteresting. The way the picture is cropped it leaves teh viewer wondering what exactly are they looking at and the way the colors in the background come through the glass is very cool. I would pick #11 as your POW. The angle in which teh shot was captured is great and little details such as the soad left on the fcan really make this a good picture. The colors and elements are very clear and crisp also.
Nice collection! I really like the way you angle your phone and utilize macro here...it can really help with conveying emotions and passion! My POW suggestion for you would be photo number five. The vibrancy of the juicy corn looks awesome and the way you used macro makes me think I am about to take a big bite out of it! The angle is slightly off which makes it candid and in my opinion a stronger photo than if it were perfectly centered. Great job!
I like the grain used in some of your photographs; It provided some nice texture but wasn't over the top. Your POW is definitely number 11. I think that the depth of field used creating a very clear image of the soda can and a more blurred view of the counter top developed a unique feel to the photograph.
Rebecca, I think your POW is 7. I like that a lot of the picture is more muted grays and then there is a pop of blue. I also like 8 and 9. I think they make really interesting use of light.
