  1. Hello! I really liked the pictures that you took that involved scenes! For example, 1, 10 and 12. Your scenes drew me in as a viewer and made me feel a certain emotion as a viewer of this scene. I could picture myself in your work and in the location of your photos. You managed to portray the emotions of isolation and coldness to a more busy and lively feeling with these three photos. My POW for you would be photo number 12 because of the emotion that I feel from this photo. The composition is unique because I feel as if I am in your shoes as you take this picture, especially with what appears to be a coffee in your hand. The coloration and tone also add to the emotion and overall feel of this photo which I think is very successful.

  2. Hello Jada, nice photos! I really like picture 10 and S1. Your S1 has a mystery within the photo and I like the technique you used to make this photograph a success. I like the dark colors as well. I think your POW should be 10 because you shot this perfectly. The color balance is great and it has a story behind it. Good job!

  3. Great job Jada! You took a good variety of photos and used a lot of colors! I like how you mixed up between wide shots and close ups. I would have to say that your POW is 14. You can tell that it is some kind of market or restaurant but I really like the warped aspects and the colors. It gives the viewer a different perspective on a sight you see every day.

  4. pow = 1, i feel like it captures a very organic moment and the photo came out capturing that essence. the random people sitting around doing their own thing and minding their own business give character for me. especially the older man to the right, he looks ghostly and almost like a mirage as if you were creating the image of him in your own head.

interesting panos for this project. they really capture the character and purpose of the spaces they were shot in. they show the relationship between them and you possibly, which is very cool conceptually. i feel as if the bar/restaurant looking spots are blurry because of the activity there.

  5. Hi Jada. I really like photo 4 for its use of long exposure time and light. It comes across as very mystical. I like how photo 11 really captures the action and shows motion. I think your POW is photo 10. I really like how the colors come across in this piece. It is sharp and framed in a way that makes it very unique. You took something that might otherwise have been mundane and made it very unique, allowing us to see it from a different perspective than we otherwise normally would.

  6. Hey Jada!

Your panoramic pictures were very interesting to me and I think that you captured them perfectly. 10 and 12 especially because even thought they are simple pictures, you added depth to them to make them more than just a room in your house. I would have to say that your POW should be number 13. Something about the vertical panoramic pictures always captures my eye and again you took something simple and made it interesting by adding depth to it. Great job!

  7. Hey Jada! Several of your photos really stand out to me. In particular, photos #1, #11, and #13 are some of my favorites. The motion in #1 is very subtle, but the fact that you can see through the gentleman at the table gives him a ghost-y feeling.

The motion of the car in #11 is so unique. As the car drives off, the white color almost creates the illusion of a white fence. I really like it.

I think the panoramic photo in #13. It's a very small space to have chosen a panoramic for, but the curves that were created from the panoramic give it a different dynamic and I think it works very well here.

    I think your POW is # 1.

  8. Photos 4 and 13 are really cool. It was hard to choose one for you POW, but I think I have to choose 13. The way you used the panorama feature to curve the cabinets and counter top in the kitchen is very interesting. I also really enjoy the colors and the filter that you put on the photo. Photo 4 is very cool and I am very curious as to how you got that effect. Is it shot through a dirty window?

  9. You had some really interesting abstract photos because of the shutter speeds effects. I specifically like #7 as your POW because of the abstraction that what caused, but because I still have no idea what it is a photo of. I like things like that, because it forces me to use my head and start imagining things and possibilities of what it is. But no really, I have no idea haha

  10. Hey Jada! You have some really interesting pictures this week. I love how your photos are shot at some really different angles. You were really creative with the shots that you chose. I love the bright colors in photos 6 and 7 because they really stand out. I would have to say that your POW is number 6. I love how you chose to shoot this photo at an extreme close-up shot. I'm not exactly sure what the photograph is of, but I think this is what makes it such an interesting composition. Great job.

  11. Pow- 15! I really like the color and how zoomed in it is. At first I was unable to tell what it really was but looking at it a bit longer and harder, I was able to identify the picture so great job with that! Also, great job with the collection. There are a lot of different perspectives on everyday objects but you added meaning and definition to things we would pass by everyday.

  12. Hey Jada, nice photos! I could feel a sense of mystery in a lot of your photos and especially enjoyed the public spaces that you chose to photograph. It's interesting to see people in motion. For your POW, I choose #12. The panorama mysterious and black and white. I also liked how you added your cup of coffee in the photo. Good job!!
