  1. Hi Sean! I really enjoyed your photos. My POW for you is definitely your self portrait 1. I really enjoy the texture that you managed to capture in your photo. This aspect made it stand out to me. Also mystery is definitely depicted in this photo. The angle and cropping of this photo draws in the viewer and allows for us to make our own interpretation of what is occurring in the picture.

  2. Hi Sean, your POW is #6. You chose a really interesting angle to shoot this photograph and it allows the railings to appear extremely long. I love that there is such a focus on the gap between the doors/railing because this is an area that is ofter overlooked. This unusual angle choice really made the photograph

  3. Hi Sean. I really like photos 1 and 3 in that they both show motion and action (I particualrly like the technique you used in photo 3). I really like photo 15 for its use of color. The blur combined with all of the red really created something artistic. I think your POW is photo 11. The vibrant red colors along with the extended panorama really turned this photo into a painting. Good job.

  4. Your POW is photo number 2. How did you get that color? It makes me wonder what it is and how you were able to take a picture like that. I like the elements of mystery you have incorporated in many of your photos, they also have a very calming feel to them. Keep up the good work!

  5. Hey Sean, I think your pow is 11. I love the colors in this picture. Initially when I look at it I am drawn to the tapestry but the string lights definitely allow the eye to travel to the green in the corner. This makes it a really interesting shot. I also really like 12 and 6. Both of these really show more than you would be able to see if you were standing there in person.

  6. Cool collection! I really enjoyed what you did with this assignment. With the term "extended sight", we are open to a lot of interpretation. You have managed to capture every day objects and make them look different and unique. I think your POW should be photo number 5 for that very reason. You have taken a very mundane object seen in every day city life, and you have made it interesting and abstract. Good work!

  7. Hey Sean!

Really liked your collection you had some really cool photos. I really liked number 11 and how you did the panoramic that way. I would say your POW would be number 1. I really like how the picture came out and that you can tell that the bus is moving and coming towards you.

  8. Hey Sean! Photographs 2, 6 and 12 were your best for me this week. I think you did a really good job with your panoramic images. I love how the guard railings appeared in image 6 to the the doorways and I think it was clever to capture something like the dock from one persons point of view to another. In 2 you did a good job with overlays. I thought the abstraction, color and texture were a good play off each other. POW for me is 6 or 12.

  9. Great photos Sean!. I would select number 12 as POW. This picture really stood out to me the most. It is extremely clear and contains monochromatic colors which adds some kind of serene emotion to the picture for me. Also, you did an excellent job of creating a panorama from close and adding depth to the picture.

  10. Hi Sean! Your POW is definitely #2! I really enjoyed the color and the abstractness of the photo. I can't really identify what the subject is but it appears to be a wooden floor with a pink overlay. I really like the way that you put that together inside of one. It is unique and definitely caught my eye. #15 is also going through the same abstractness so I really liked looking at that as well. Good job!

  11. Hey Sean! You've got some really interesting photos. I love how incorporated the use of really vibrant colors in some of your photographs. It really makes photographs 15,11, and 2 stand out. I think photo 2 is really interesting because of how you use the vibrant pink color but the background seems to be a brick pattern. This is really unusual and really unique. I would have to say however that your POW is photo number 12. This is shot at a really interesting perspective. I think it is also a really creative use of a panoramic shot. Good job!

  12. Pow: 1
You were really close to that septa bus, makes me wonder how you managed to get a shot like that. That picture is interesting because it is really realistic and at the same time stimulates some fright. You can see the bus coming toward you with its massive frame. It really depicts a very stimulating point of view. Your pictures are very stimulating and your use of dept of field made them even more gaze worthy.
