  1. Hi Aubrey. I really like your selection of photos this section. I really like self portrait 1. There is something very mysterious and haunting about the way your image is cast across the stark, barren tree. It conveys a feeling of cold and winter, and isolation. I love photo 3, in that I am not even sure what this is a picture of, nor how you managed to create this image but, it is very artistic, and left me wondering. Photo 7 really strikes me as something that was probably very mundane and yet, you manged to turn it into a piece of art. I like the pure "whiteness" of this photo and it also creates a feeling of isolation. I really like all your photos but, I think 14 is your POW. This photo left me really wondering, and wishing that I could have been on that street corner, involved in that moment. You managed to create a painted picture from a photo. It a really great perspective and I felt like there was a real story there.

  2. Hey Aubrey! I really like photo 15. I think this picture has a lot of mystery to it and I would definitely say its your POW. I love how you made the shutter speed show that the people are almost disappearing as they walk. Two of my other favorites are your self portrait 1 and photo number 7.

  3. Hey Aubrey, you have a ton of awesome photos in this collection. My favorites are 9, 10, 11, and 13. You use really nice techniques to shoot this photographs through your camera positioning and I love the tonal quality of them all.
Your POW is SP1. It is such an unusual photo combination to use for an overlay, but it works so well for this photograph. Great job

  4. Hey Aubrey! My favorites in this collection are 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 14. I think your techniques with playing with slow shutter are most interesting. A lot of these images turned in combinations of feelings of repetition, splicing, and blurs. There is a lot of cool stuff going on in these. My POW for you this week is number 2. I love how you were able to capture three different emotions in the subjects facial expressions. In addition he comes across as just a head so mystery is definitely inserted there. Good work!

  5. Your POW is self portrait number 1 because of the interesting combination of your face and the ground and how you layered the photo. I also like photo number 3 because it interests me as far as what that person is doing and how you took that photo. I like the dark overtones in all of your photos, keep up the good work!

  6. Hi Aubrey! First off, I really like photos #6, #11, and #15. I like that the choice of color for photo #6 creates an eerie feeling. It's kind of creepy but I like it! By choosing the stopping points for the door because with that, I can hear the door creaking. It's great! #11 is unique because that's a unique place. From your point of view, you want to walk down the steps but then it's confusing with the stairs going back up. While there is no motion in the picture, I feel the motions of the steps just from looking at it. I think #11 is your POW.

I also really like #15. It makes me want to be walking down the streets with my friends and having a great time. Overall, I really like your collection this week! Great job.

  7. Hey Aub! I love your collection... my favorites are number 2 and number 15. I like your creativity in using multiple different perspectives of "extended sight" in your shots. Number 2 should be your POW in my opinion because it seems very simplistic, yet complex. The colors are not over bearing so it allows me to look deeper into the image, and I like the way you created three images over each other and still kept them quite clear. Well done!

  8. Hey Aubrey! Really awesome collection this week. A lot of your photos are shot at such interesting angles which I thought was really cool. I would have to say that your POW is your first photo, number 1. The contrast between the negative and positive space is so strong and it really caught my eye right away. I love how the bright windows pop out against the dark sides of the building. I love how each space of the light in the window is its own individual shape. It forces you to look at each individual detail in the image rather than just the photo as a whole.

  9. I really liked the overall tone of your photos. Number 3 is a very cool shot which immediately captured my attention and made me have to look more closely at it. I would pick number 8 as POW because I like the blurriness created here. You can pick out the buildings and the stoplights but it seems almost as though they are fading or melting away which is very cool. Good job!

  10. Pow: 3
I enjoy that photo because I don't really know what I am looking at. It give off a mysterious glare. It is inticing. It creates an emotion and gives you a different point of view. I enjoy your different pictures. However, yours is one of the last ones I looked at and it seems like everyone has been taking shots of stairways so it seems a little cliche. but overall you did a good job
