Hey Alex, great photos! I have to say that a few photos, like self-portrait 1 (baby hand!), 14, 13, 7 and 1 are humorous! Good job! It's nice to see some humor in photographs because their usually all serious! I think number 7 should be your POW! You have a lot of rubber duckies, and I like how you positioned them for the photo! Also, the tone and the rubber ducky on the bottom who is missing its right eye makes the photo mysterious! Haha! Great work!
Your POW is photo 8 because of the patterns on the eggs and also that the eggs make me think of Easter. The photos in this crit are about memory and vintage and a lot of your photos have elements of both in them. I like your use of color as well as the vintage filters.
Hey Alex! You have some really nice photographs for this weeks topic. I really liked how a lot of your photos were shot at really interesting angles. It made ordinary objects appear really unique and interesting. I would have to say that your POW is S2. I love how you shot a close up of the sunglasses. I think it's really cool how you can see a reflection in lenses. This makes for a really interesting composition. Great work!
Hey Alex! First of all, I agree with Laura in saying that a lot of your pictures have elements of both memory and vintage in your pictures. On that note, I think your POW is #6. I like the sepia tone here and I think the natural light in the picture helps a lot to create different feelings in this picture. Good job!
Hi Alex. I liked many of your photos but, I think photo 1 is your POW. I feel like this photo really captured something candid. It is a real moment from real life and yet it feels very much like a memory. I like the effect you put on this as well. It helped to enhance the feeling of time passed.
Cool photos this week but have to say the dolls freak me out a little! Haha! Anyway, I think that your POW is definitely number 6. The filters that you used on it really made me feel like I was looking at an old photo so excellent job. Also your self portrait using baby hand was hilarious!
I love the color in your photos! You did a great job capturing abstract views and detailed textures in your shots. In following the theme for this week I would select 6 as your POW. It really creates a mysterious theme which leaves the viewer wondering what previously happened there, whats happening now, and what will happen in the future.
