  1. Hi Jasmine, my favorite photos of your bunch are 3 and 7. You really took advantage of the sunlight and it helped to create great shadows in your photographs. Your POW is 7. I found myself staring at the fire escape for awhile because it is really hard to distinguish it from the shadows, which I thought added to the quality of the photograph. I also really like the editing technique you used.

  2. Hey Jasmine, I really like your pictures. You did a good job of representing vintage and memory. I think that your POW is 20. I feel like this photo can evoke memories in many people. We've all seen tickets like that at carnivals or raffles from when we were younger. It would bring back fun memories of summer or winning something big. I feel like a lot of people can relate to this picture. I also like the shadows.

  3. Jasmine. Both photo 11 and 12 are really good shots. They create a feeling of isolation which often accompanies images of memory. I actually really like some of the vintage aspects of your photos as well, the monkey and the strange doll but, I think your POW is photo 2. I'm not sure why but, this one really screamed sadness and reflection to me. The framing of your subject matter really helped to express this sentiment.

  4. Hi Jasmine a lot of your images have some great color to them and feeling of space and depth. I really like 2, 6, 11 and 12. POW from me is number 6. I am so intrigued to find out what is actually going on in this photograph. It has a bit of a dark and erie feel to it and definitely creates mystery. Nice work.

  5. Hey Jasmine, you have a lot of great photos! As I looked through them, I really got the sense of time and memory! I also really liked the filters you used and the different tones of each picture! As for your POW, I would choose number 17. Reason being is because it's mysterious and unlike any picture I have ever seen before!

  6. Your POW is photo 3 because the scene of the picture really stands out to me. It is so serene. I like how a lot of your photos are of still and calming scenes with the added vintage effect. I also liked photo 2 because of the reflection and the use of mystery.

  7. Hey Jasmine! I really enjoyed looking through your photographs for this weeks topic. A lot of your photos have really great depth and texture which really captured my attention. I also like how some of your photographs are close-ups where there is a really interesting composition but it is unclear what exactly it is a picture of. I would have to say that your POW is number 7. The image of the old building combined with the gritty filter make a really nice vintage photograph. I love how the staircase and the shadows create a very structured image as well. Very nice.

  8. Jasmine, this collection is very good! You have a few pieces that i couldn't help but stare at for quite some time (4, 10, 13, 17, 18, to name a few). Each photo somehow seems loaded with some sort of story. Also, the lighting in most of your pics are spot on. I think your POW should be number 4 because in my opinion it tells a story. I want to know why that picket on the gate is broken off. I want to know the story and this picture draws me in. Very well done!

  9. pow = 7, very interesting shot of a building that looks like it has been neglected for sometime yet still beautiful. the geometry of the brick and fire escapes reads nicely and the texture added on the photo really gives it the vintage feel.
overall very mysterious photos. there is a grungy post apocalyptic feel to a lot of them but i guess thats what you get when you mix shooting urban philly with vintage filters, IT WORKS VERY WELL!

  10. Jasmine, with each passing week I am loving your pictures more and more. I love this week's collection due to its lack of color but abundance of memory and mystery. your POW is 19 because it evokes a memory. The monkey is faded a bit but enough light falls on it for us to imagine movement and adds a vintage flare. I love this picture. Brings me back to my childhood.
