Hi Kajal, I really liked a number of your photographs, including 2, 6, 8, and 11 so it was a difficult to pick a POW. With that being said, I think your POW is 11. You captured this photograph at a great angle so that the viewer can appreciate the beauty of the tree while still being able to see the rest of its environmennt. I particularly like the contrast of the tree to the manmade elements that are surrounding it. You used a really nice editing technique as well.
Hi KJ! I really liked your shots this week! I think you have definitely shown improvement throughout this class! I really like a lot of your subjects and subject placement. You had a very interesting and good variety throughout all of your photos which created interested as a viewer throughout this collection. My POW for you is 13. I really like the angle that you took this photo and its very different from other subjects we have seen photographed. I also really like the filter you applied to the photo.
Hey there, I really enjoyed photos 7-15. They all have a similar feel and are all super interesting. There is a lot of color going on throughout those images, and they all seem to compliment each other. I think your pow is #13 because it is such a different and unique look at the merry go round - over all, the composition is wonderful.
Hey Kajal I really liked photos 13, 14, 16, and 20 of yours this week. You were able to capture a lot of great colors and I sense feelings of memory and catching that moment in time. I think your POW could be either 13 or 16. In 13 is where I find the most color and your framing and angles in this image are very interesting to view. There is so much little details to see. I also really like 16 because of the interesting reflection captured in the window. I cant really tell what the subject is doing but it seems overall dreamy.
Hi Kajal! Great Photos. I like how all of your photos kind of tell a story about your every day life. I really liked the creativity and object placements of your shots. I think your POW should be 13. I really like the angle and lighting of this photograph! Good JOB :)
There is a lot going on in this picture. You used light, geometry, reflection, and depth to create a memory. It looks like you are looking out a window and looks like you are revisiting a moment that you experienced in the past. The natural lighting coming in from the background and the archways against the vertical and horizontal lines of the window add a beautiful contrast.
Your POW is photo 13 because I love the use of color and it makes me think of a merry go round from an amusement park when I was younger. It definitely goes with the memory AND vintage aspects of the crit. Your photos make me think of old memories that I haven't thought of in a while and that seems to be sort of the point of the topic of this crit. The photos have a lot of life in them, good work!
Hey! I think you have a great collection that get a lot of emotion out of the vintage/memory topic that we were challenged with. In particular, I really like 14 and 16. The flowers on the ground look like they're floating--it's dreamlike. The lighting and colors in the editing really add to the dreaming and imagination in this picture, especially because the body of the person is missing--it's mysterious.
I think your POW should be 16. I love that you can tell there's someone inside, but the reflection of the hallways make me wonder where this person is. It's a really interesting picture and I think each aspect of it adds up to one great picture.
Hey Kajal! Really enjoyed all of your photos this week and think that you did a really good job with this assignment. I had a few favorites out of your collection but I think that your POW should be 10. It really looks like it's almost a faded memory and I think that the shot and whatever filters you used made it a perfect picture.
I really enjoyed a lot of your photos for this crit. For your POW, I would definitely go with 2. I liked the contrast in colors from the room and the outside. It is really cool how the light from outside draws a line of color on the dark wall on the inside. Photo 1 is also pretty cool, I really like the filter and effects you used to create the image.
