Hi Lindsay! You had some really good shots this week! I really liked 6, 10, and 12! I really liked the way you captured movement in a very clear composition in photo 10. The photo did not get blurry as a whole, but blurred in very interesting places that gave the feeling of movement. Photo number 12 was really intersting to me because of the subject placement and the shadow. The color tone of the overall photo gave off a very specific feeling to me. MY POW is 6 though, because I really like the subject placement and also the story this piece tells. I feel like this photo accurately captures the memory aspect for this week.
Hey Linds 1, 2 and 6 are my favorite images of yours this week. POW for me is number 1. I think you were able to capture this at a very interesting angle and the reflection off the water creates more depth to what is being presented. I also think showing it in b&w allowed for a good representation of contrast. Nice work.
Hey Lindsay! Your photos are very artsy, I really enjoyed looking through your work. I think all of your photos have somewhat of a mystery and can tell a story about yourself. I really liked photos 1 and 15. I think your POW should be photo 15 because it looks vintage and the lighting is perfect here! good luck with the rest of your semester and good job! :)
Hey Lindsay, nice photos! I really enjoyed looking through all of them! You captured a lot of great light, and I like that some of your photos are at the beach! Number 19 is really neat... it almost looks like it could be from the 1970's! As for your POW, I think it should be number 4. I love sand dunes, and in your photo I like the contrast of the wood against the sand, against the dark sky!
Hey Lindsay, My favorites from your collection were 7, 12, and 16. I think these three definitely felt the most like a memory to me. I think your POW should be 16. The way the trees kinda frame the corner of the picture is really pretty.
Hey, Im going to stick to your photo #1. I think its most definitely your POW because of it stopped me in my tracks to really get a good look at it. The shadows and highlights are very dramatic and super strong. It took me a while to know what I was looking at, and I like those kinds of photos. Great job overall
This photo is very interesting, because normally you do not see or look at the bottom of a chair. You can tell that this chair has been through a lot in its time and you were able to capture that. Who really knows how long this chair has been in existence and who sat on it. You captured the tattered part of the chair and were able to capture the contrast between the bright red covering and the black coils underneath. This is just overall an interesting picture..... you rarely see a chair flipped upside down on the sidewalk.
I would pick photo 15 as your POW. I really like the framing of the stairs, and the geometric qualities of the photograph. The colors in the photo are actually really cool. I like the way you desaturated the image to create a cool muted effect. Overall, really great shots for this crit!
I really enjoyed your collection this week. I think your POW should be 6. It is so simple yet evokes so much emotion. The skateboard is just left upside down and the fact that you zoomed in on it shows that you didnt need to capture the entire thing but just enough of it to spark a memory in me. I love the contrast and the colors and the lighting adds to the overall vintage/memory feel.
Pow: 15 You had an interesting array of pictures for this assignment. you did a great job of taking some really good shots. I liked how you incorporated a futuristic scheme with your different aspects and points of view. I love the filters that you used and also the futuristic scene with the stairways.
