  1. Hi Megan! I really love a lot of your photos! You found some really cool subjects to photograph. My POW is number 10 because of the unique content that you captured. I really like the simplicity of this shot. It is very creative and different from what we have seen this semester. It gives the viewer an entirely different view from your perspective.

  2. Hi Megan! 1,6, 10 and 13 were my favorite images of yours this week. It is neat how you took a lot of day to day things and objects and gave them meaning. I feel a lot of abandonment while scrolling through your stuff this week. I think your POW is also 10. This image is kind of abstract and comes across to me as a little chaotic. Good job!

  3. Hello Megan! good job this week. I really like your work and how you have a couple purple trees :) I love purple, a little too much I think. Anyway, I think your POW should be six. I like the mugs and how it just looks very vintage. I think your caught what the assignment was in this photograph. I also like the filter you used as well as the angle this was shot. Good Job!

  4. Your POW is photo 1 because of the colors and the way the photo is tilted. I like how a lot of your photos have very vibrant colors and are taken from interesting angles. I like photo 7 because of how the picture really looks like an old film photograph that was taken and then exposed. Great work!

  5. Hey Megan! I really love your photos for this weeks topic. I love how all your photographs are all so colorful and vibrant. That really caught my attention when looking through them. I would have to say that your POW is number 5. You really captured such an intimate moment between the two people walking. That energy caught my attention, and made me want to know more about these two people and about was was going on in that very moment. Great job.

  6. Hey I think your POW should be #6. Its super awesome in the sense that I really feel like if I went through my mom's collection of photos from the 80's, I'd find this there. It looks very vintage and you really nailed the memory aspect in my opinion great job.

  7. Hey Megan!

Just like Steve said I really get an 80s vibe from your pictures and I absolutely love it! You took simple everyday objects and really gave a vintage vibe to them. I would say your POW is number 2. I love the angle and it really looks like a good combination of vintage and memory at the same time. Great job on the assignment.

  8. pow = 6. the blurry corners create a variation of the typical vignette technique and the landscape shot looks great. it reminds me of being on the beach in the 70's, and even though the picture looks a little rough, it translates as peaceful. the water and the beach play off each other and make almost a ying-yang relationship.
nice use of washed out colors and vintage looking photos in your collection. well done, the post processing was executed perfectly

  9. I would pick photo 3 as your POW. I really look the look of the girl in the photograph. The way you adjusted the colors of the image really make her hair look cool. It is also awesome that you were to capture her eating and make the photo still look good. I think the model really carried the photograph for this particular image. Overall great shots.

  10. Pow: 1
Your use of light did a lot to provoke the feelings of vintage and memory. Your filters and use of colors also directs the subjects in your photography. You did a good job of incorporating people and lighting and filters. It completed the assignment and you did a great job overall.
