  1. Hi Sam! My POW for you is number 15! I love how this picture not only looks interesting but tells a story from a different perspective. I also really like how you were not afraid to make this shot black and white. It really shows how you have learned different techniques throughout our class. I really like how the horse is taking you on a journey and this photo is taken in a specific moment of this journey with the trees neverending as your path. Good job!

  2. Hey Sam! Your pictures are great. You used so many neat filters and colors. I think that your POW is 4 or 5. I can't decide. I feel like both could bring back some type of memory. I also think that they look like they were taken years ago! I really think that you took the concept for this assignment and nailed it!

I like all the different filters and colors that you used for this assignment. I think your POW should be number 15, I like the colors and the angle. good job!

  4. Hey Sam, Great collection this week! Some of my favorites were 1, 15, and 17. All of your pictures have a great tonal quality to me. They really show the memory theme. I think your POW is definitely 15. The coloring and the framing really make me feel like I am looking at some place in the past. Great job!

  5. The shot of the tree, photo 16, is definitely your POW. The color change in the sky looks so great. I can not even tell how you got that effect. Did you use a filter, or is that the natural change in sky color? I also liked your adjustment of saturation in photo 19. It really makes the grass and stands pop.

  6. Hi Samantha. You have a lot of great photos here. Several could have been your POW but the one that jumped out at me was photo 9. This photo screams old time vintage. I love the effect of the people in the crowd blending together and this photo comes across like it was taken in the 70's. Great shot!

  7. Pow: 1
Your pictures look like they come straight from an advertisement ad. You did a great job with the assignment in showing past memories and creating futuristic ones. I love the filters that you used and your entire composition. Overall you did a great job!

  8. Interesting photos this week! You did a great job utilizing different filters to add emotion and mystery to many of your shots. I would select 15 as your POW. The tone you added is great and the angle from which the shot is taken is awesome. I like how you see part of the horses head and then the scene in front of him, placing the audience on the horse wondering what is going on the scene. great job!
