Hi Laura! Your first self portrait, number one I think is my favorite and POW for you. What a fun use of complementary colors with the blue of your eye and the orange hat. Here you showed a serious side and within itself I think displays a little mystery. Nice shot!
Hey Laura, nice pictures! I think your POW should be #10. I like the skull and the lighting of the photograph. There is also a little bit of mystery in the photo and shows a little story about you. Good job!
Hey! Some of these had me actually "wowed." specifically, the #6 and #7. They are so damn interesting. #6 would have to be my choice for your POW because it has such serious mystery to it. Like, WTF is that!? It looks like some sketchy jelly fish xray, or discovery channels explanation of what's in the deepest parts of the ocean haha. Super mysterious, and I could look at it and guess all day long. So cool. A lot of your photos have a pattern or shape as a subject, mixed with a cool filter or edit, and I think these pics really stand out against your other photos. No really though, What is #6
Hey Laura. Hands down your POW is photo 6. I found myself staring at it and both wondering just what it was, and then allowing my mind to create many different stories as to its origin. It is a great example of use of light and I love the contrast, as well as the mystery. At first I thought it was a light, then some sort of piece of furniture, then, some sort of alien. Whatever you did to create this image.. bravo!
Hey Laura, very interesting photos! #6 is awesome! I'm not sure what the object is, but you captured it very well! The shape, colors and mystery really stand out! #1 is neat because of the color of your eyes and knit hat. I think your POW would be #7. I love the pattern and the colors. It seems like the pattern could go on forever, as if you were looking down a long hallway. Nice work!
Hi Laura, you have some really interesting photos this week. Photographs 6 and 7 caught my attention immediately, particularly because I cannot decide what they are. In fact, I found myself staring at both of them for awhile. Your POW is photograph #7 for a few reasons. First, the vibrant colors are beautiful and they contrast extremely well with the black outlining. And second, I want to know more about this photograph and what exactly it is. Good work
Hey Laura! Was very intrigued by your photos I loved them all and think you did a great job on the assignment. Numbers 5 and 6 were my favorites I just found them so intriguing. I think that your POW should be number 6. It has so many colors, patterns, and textures that I couldn't look away. Great job!
Your pictures are attention-grabbing. your different use of patterns intrigues the eye and also the mystery in some of your photos captures your gaze.POW:1
Hi Laura! I will agree with everyone else in saying that #6 is incredibly intriguing. I love the colors and I can assume it's a chandelier, but it really looks like it's a cool jellyfish-thing. The patterns it creates is very cool! Great job.
I'd have to say though, my POW choice for you is #14. I love the framing and I'm a big fan of great use of the rule of thirds. I love that most of the photo is white and plain while the boldness of the red blanket stands out. The few dark objects in the center of the picture create a nice silhouette that makes me wonder. I think it's a really good picture!
Hey Laura, I really like your collection this week. It is really varied and shows some really neat subjects. For me your pow is 7. I love the color in this as well as the pattern. Its really pretty makes me wonder what it is.
Your POW is definitely photo number 1, the self portrait. I really like the colors and the relationship between your blue eyes and the orange hat that you are wearing. I really like the way that you adjusted the saturation in the photograph, it created just the right feel. Overall your photographs are really great. Number 14 creates a really cool vibe.
