  1. Hi Alex. I really like the vibrant colors in your self portraits that contrast with the white background. You did a nice job showing motion through the blurriness of your photos. Your photographs are not numbered, so counting from the top of the page your POW is 8. I like the unusual way in which you captured the trees. From afar the area all blends together because of the blurredness of the photo, but when you look at it up close you can appreciate all the different trees and other aspects of the wilderness.

  2. Hi Alex. I love photos 8 and 16. 8 uses a great technique to make it look like a painting and I like how this piece is framed. 16.. appears to be a painter's pallet and definitely is more art than photo. I would have picked that one as you POW had it not been for photo 5. This is your POW. I love the long exposure and how it captured the moon while embracing the darkness all around. Made for a very haunting photo that expresses winter and isolation. Loved it.

  3. Alex, I feel like some of the photos were just normal photos with out panoramic, layers, or shutter priority, but the rest of them had a really good flow. Especially the use of color which was super awesome. I really enjoy very vivid photos, and you nailed that for me. Your POW for me is #15 because its and interesting pov and tells me that you are possibly an artist of some sort by the looks of the paint of the table. good job.

  4. Hey Alex! Your photographs 8, 9 and 17 are the best for me. 8 contains a lot of interesting lines that appeared sliced but still have a feeling of ever-connecting. 9 creates a interesting blurriness and illustrates a fast movement in time, a image that you almost missed maybe. I also really like 17 because there appears to be an unevenness in the boards of the steps and I am interesting to know what lays at the top that is illuminating the light source. POW for me is 8.

  5. Hey Alex!
I really liked your self portraits, the contrast between the red and the white really make them stand out. I think your POW should be number 17. I really like how you chose stairs to do a panoramic shot with and the stairs themselves have character to them. I'm glad that you chose crooked, worn stairs instead of stairs in your house or something because it really makes the picture.

  6. Alex you had a lot of great shots of nature. My favorite shots would be #11 and 15. #5 offers a very cool perspective and view of a classroom. I like how it starts beneath the table and continues to above it and into the room. It really gives the audience a look into two areas which is nice. In #11 the picture is very clear and excellently captured. I enjoyed the extended seeing element here and would select it as POW due to the clarity and emotion.

  7. Hey Alex! Really cool photos. I love how so many of your photos seem to have been shot outside and incorporate nature. It really creates such a sense of unity among your pictures and also seems to say a little bit about yourself and what you like to do. I think I would have to say that your POW is picture 15. It is shot at such an interesting perspective. You are looking at the top of the table and into the distance and at the same time you can see your shoes. I think it's really interesting angle to shoot a photograph. I also like how the bright red in the shoes pop out in the photograph and bring out the color in the table as well.

  8. Pow: 9
It looks like you were having a lot of fun playing with different colors and scenes for your photos. I like the way that you show movement and different perspectives with your shots. #9 has the perfect amount of blur to show the different colors that are present in nature and it also has just enough so that you are able to identify the objects.

  9. Hey Alex, beautiful work! I loved how you photographed a lot of aspects of nature! There are a lot of nice colors in your photos, especially in #16! For your POW, I would choose #3 . I like how there is mystery in the pitch black doorway that you framed in the center, and then light surrounding it with the shadow from the pine tree. Nice work!
