  1. Hey Hynda, I love how you chose to edit your photos this week with the various overlay techniques. I really enjoyed a number of your photos but my favorites are 6, 8, 11, and 14. I actually found myself staring at these photographs for awhile because of how intriguing they are. With that being said, I think your POW is 14. I like the unusual viewpoint from which this is taken and how you captured movement. It contrasts really well with the white background. Awesome job!

  2. Hi Hynda. Both of your self portraits are truly fantastic! I love the image in self-portrait 2; its a person of 2 minds and made me think about how we walk through life with our eyes wide open even as they are shut to the events occurring around us. Self portrait 1 is just a work of art. Both of these self-portraits show that you were not just clicking off photos and hoping for something but, really thinking through composition, placement, and content. I love 14, 11, 6, and 3 (how exactly did you pull 14 off?) However, I keep coming back to photo 8 (self-portrait 1) for how truly thought through and artistic it is. Just Great! This is you POW.

  3. Hey Hynda! You did a lot of neat things for this topic with uses of overlay techniques. You were able to successfully play with objects and shapes within the images combined to create interesting photographs. For instance how the handle of the coffee mug mimicked the curve of your nose… really awesome. Also I feel like you played with combining different textures like the brick in 3 and the blanket in 1. My favorites of yours are 8, 6, 5, 3, and 1. POW is your self portrait, numero 8. Good stuff!

  4. Your POW is photo number 5, I liked the way the photo is layered and the placing of the subjects - the tree and the old lady, it looks awesome and mysterious at the same time. I also like photo number 9 because I find myself wondering where that photo was taken and how it has so much depth to it. Your use of layering in your photos is really good, they look almost professional!

  5. Hi Hynda,

    POW=3

    You did a wonderful job by using various techniques in your photos. It was hard for me to choose a personal favorite because I like multiple pictures for different reasons. My favorite shots from you were 1,3,5, and 8. However, I love how you did the double exposure in photo 3. I think it fits perfectly in "extended vision" because it seems like this path could go on forever, yet you laid it behind a brick wall. I found it interesting that you choose to mix both the brick wall and the underground subway. This picture represents a paradox in your life path- you can either see the brick wall or the hallway of opportunities.

    Great job!

  6. Hey Hynda, I really love your whole collection this week. I think for me your pow is photo 1. I am crazy about the coloring in this picture. There is a ton of texture to it as well that I think makes it really interesting. I also really like photos 5 and 6. 5 has this very warm almost comforting feeling to it. Its very emotional to me. 6 makes me very curious. I can't exactly tell what I am looking at but that makes me like it even more.

  7. Hey Hynda! I think all of your pictures are great and each has something different to add to this topic of extended sight. I particularly love photo #1. That's my vote for your POW. I love the combination of colors and texture and the light in the desk photo kind of acts as a separator to create three different divisions of the picture. It's incredible!

    #11 is an interesting interpretation of extended sight. Although there isn't motion or a panoramic, the eye is led up several different flights of stairs (I assume) and it's enticing. I love the way it turned out. I also love pictures #16 and #17. Your interpretation of a self-portrait with your eyes open/closed is incredibly creepy but I love it. The movement in picture #16 is ghostly and it turned out great.

  8. Hey Hynda!

    Your collection this week is pretty awesome. I have a lot of favorites from this week but I think your POW should be number 11. The technique you used for this one is great and the overlay is very interesting. The texture and the fact that it is just on half of the picture truly makes it different than all of the other pictures that I have seen so far. Great job with the assignment.

  9. Hey Hynda! Really cool photos for this topic! I love how there is such a variety among your pictures. Some of your photos like 6, 9, and 14 are shot at such interesting perspectives, but are very clear and vibrant. However, you also have some pictures like 16, 10, and 3 which are more muted and hazy looking but are equally as interesting compositions. I really love a lot of your photos but I would have to say that your POW is number 14. It's is so interesting that the focal point is directly in the center of the photo. I like how you can make out all the components in the image such as the sky, the tree, the bike, the building, but everything is all mixed into one image. Very cool!

  10. Very interesting pictures! I liked all of your 360 panoramas which created unique circles of the scenes you captured. I would pick #10 as POW because I enjoyed the colors that were used and the feeling of traveling at the speed of light that is created. Good Job!
