  1. Hey Kajal! I really liked the color theme I felt in your photos. This week you had a lot of dark tones and colors which I enjoyed viewing your photos. My choice for your POW is photo number 10. I really like the balance of colors throughout the piece. This really draws my eye in. I also really enjoy the essence of a reflection and the contrast of the feet and clothes to the floor.

  2. Hey Kajal. You pictures are great! I think that your POW should be 10 or 11. You really captures the paranormal aspect in 11. It looks like the girl is a ghost as well as there is two of her. This is definitely a great representation of seeing past what the human eye can see.

  3. Hi Kajal! I love your photos! they all look great. The colors throughout your photographs are great and you captured some great reflection photos and implemented some mystery photos as well. I really like photo #3 because of the mystery behind it. I think your POW should be photo #11 because of the how you captured this. It looks like two people, but it's actually one. The technique you used for this photo turned out great.

  4. Hi Kajal. You used some really great apps this week to enhance your photographs. Your POW is 10. I love that you can look at the photograph from all sorts of angles by tilting your head, and it does not feel like it is upside. The light reflecting off of the floor gives it a really nice touch, and I love the position of the two people in the photograph

  5. pow = 13, great geometry and figures. the photo has a sense of mystery because of the quick shutter speed creating these ghost like figures, and the angle of the the steps coming down creates an interesting pyramid effect. it reminds me of what a memory would look like if somehow reproduced.

i think you have some nice abstract photos this week (17,15,1) that create interesting shapes with nice colors. I'm not sure if this is because of motion or how it was shot but they look like a background use on an iPhone.

10 is shot from a great angle, i catch myself turning my head to try and figure out how it was done which is good. the foreground to background relationship is very different and interesting because it is reversed from what you usually expect. it has a mirror effect that leaves me wondering

  6. My favorites in your collection this week are definitely 6 and 11. I love the way you blended the figure into the bricks in photo 11. This shows really mystery to me. Your pow for me however is photo 6. To start the coloring in this is really beautiful. I also feel like even though its a pretty simple shot the way you have it set up almost allows me to see through the scene. I think its a great example of extended seeing. I also really like the way you framed photo 5. The colors are great here too.

  7. Hey Kajal!
Really liked your photos and my favorites would have to be 10 and 11. I really like the motion of the girl that you captured in number 11 even though she looks like she's standing still. I think that 10 would be your POW though. The panoramic view that you captured in this one is very different and interesting. All of your pictures were very good and captured the colors great.

  8. Great photos! The colors are so expressive throughout your shoot. I really like photo 5 because of the interesting way that you framed the shot. It grabs the viewers attention to certain details without providing a traditional framing of the subject. I had a hard time deciding your POW, but I think it is photo 10. The curvature created in the panorama like shot had a very neat effect on the tiles.

  9. Kajal,

    POW= 11
I really enjoy this week of photos from you. I like how you decided to go with abstract photos and a lot of architecture in this two weeks of shooting. You really used motion to change the space and setting, in multiple pictures. However I thought you did this the best in #11, which is why I chose it as your POW. I like how in one photo, you can see an alternate dimension in a way. It is obvious it is the same subject (person), but in a different period of time. I also think by putting your subject against a brick wall created a very interesting effect.

    Love your photos!

  10. Hey,

I'll start out with what I loved. #10 and #11 were super great. #10 is my choice for your POW because of how detailed and clever it was. The bodies were positioned almost the same, but on opposite ends, and the panorama really brought a cool idea to life. #11 was also a great one because it's two slices from time, but you get to see them at once. So it really nails the concept of this weeks assignment - Seeing what your eyes cannot. Great job.

  11. Nice work on this assignment! Your collection provides many different aspects of extended seeing from lighting changes, to movement to shadows. I really like how you thought outside of the box for many of your photos. Your POW should be number 3 because you use the panorama idea plus shadows to convey extended seeing. You also utilized the patterns of the fence and the leading lines of the sidewalk. This is all a very creative way to do this assignment. Nice work!

  12. Hey Kajal!

I absolutely love all of your photos this week. I think you did a great job at showing creativity in each of these pictures. Two of them really stand out to me--#10 and #11.

#10 is so confusing but in the best way. I love that you chose one subtle thing to make such a big difference in this photo compared to many others for this assignment--using a second person's feet. Having feet at the top and bottom in this picture allows me to think about which way is up and where my perspective is coming from -- are my feet on the top or on the bottom? It's incredible! Great job.

I also love #11. I love that the image of the person is light so it's not as overbearing in the picture. The motion of the slight turn is so small but it works well. I really like it!

  13. Good pictures Kajal! I personally likes # 5, 10, & 12. In #5 the vibrant colors and scene of the picture make in interesting. In #12 I liked the unique angle of the picture. I think you did a good job capturing and "extended view" of the side of the building. I would pick # 10 as your POW for the unique perspective. Although it is simply two people standing across from each other the curve in the picture expands the space.

  14. Kajal, nice work on your photos! I really admire the way you layered your photos and the type of things you chose to photograph. My favorite and your POW should be #11. I think the layering is really nice, especially against the brick wall!

  15. I really like photos 6,8,10 and 17. 6 is a great example of color and exposure and looks like a painting. 8 is a great ghost-like image, love the sinister mystery in this piece. 10 was a wonderful use of the panorama effect. Not how we would normally view something like this so that made it unique and creative. I think your POW is 17. I'm not even sure what it is but, its a great use of light exposure and the ensuing effect created something very "painting like". Very artistic!

  16. Hey Jasmine! You have some really interesting photos this week. I really love the use of color throughout a lot of your photos. The use of vibrant colors helps for your images to stand out and add a really fun and interesting element. I would have to say that your POW is photo number 10. It is shot at such an interesting angle and makes for a really interesting perspective. It almost looks as though one person is standing on the floor and at the same time the other person is standing on the ceiling. It is such an interesting shot and is really stands out.
